After earning numerous awards for his still life and scenic photography, Jon Allyn directed his talents to portraiture and founded Jon Allyn Photography in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1979.

Jon is the current Executive Director of the American Society of Photographers, a past president of the Wisconsin Professional Photographers, a PPA Councilor and a PPA Affiliate Juror. He has been named Photographer of the Year by WPPA (three times), SEWPPA (four times), and SCPA (eight times). He has five Kodak Gallery Awards to his honor, ten Fuji Masterpiece awards, the ASP State Elite Award and the ASP Regional Medallion. He has been inducted into the Wisconsin Professional Photographers Hall of Fame and the Camera Craftsmen of America.

Jon currently owns and operates Jon Allyn Photography in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a studio that serves both portrait and commercial clients.
