Rick Avalos

Rick Avalos has been practicing his craft for 34 years, has lectured in Mexico and Spain and been honored by both his professional organizations and his fellow photographers. Rick's images have received numerous Kodak Gallery Awards and Fuji Masterpiece Awards, have been displayed at Disney's EPCOT Center, at Photokina in Cologne, Germany, and at the Pacific Rim International Exhibition in Seoul, South Korea.

In 1986, Rick was Certified by the PPA and he received his Master of Photography in 1992. In 1994, he earned his Photo-graphic Craftsman Degree and he also holds the Photographic and Educational Fellowship Degrees from the Professional Photo-graphers of Colorado. He received the coveted National Award from the Professional Photographers of Colorado and the Duncan McNab Service Award from the Rocky Mountain Professional Photographers Association. Rick's programs are well received and are designed to elevate the level of technique as well as professionalism. The content is covered in a concise, but casual environment which facilitates the best opportunity for learning.
