John Woodward

John Woodward has been a working professional photographer for 38 years. His clients include Chase, Citibank, Paramount Pictures, RJR Nabisco, Viacom, Unisys and Marriott Hotels.

He has photographed such stars as Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Billy Idol, Aretha Franklin, Madonna and the Rolling Stones. As an event photographer, he has worked events for five U.S. Presidents, the Pope, the Dalai Lama and several First Ladies. John was the Official Photographer of the New York Yankees for six seasons, covered the U.S. Open (tennis) and the U.S. Open (golf). He is currently the official photographer for the League of American Theater Owners and Producers.

He has been a speaker for more than 20 years and teaches several Affiliate Schools for PPA, as well as many state and regional conventions each year. He has been named a PPA Photographer of the Year and received the ASP Regional Gold Medallion in 2007. He also holds the ASP Educational Associate, also awarded to him in 2007.
